Lichfield Townsafe (incorporating PubWatch)

The Lichfield Townsafe Business Partnership is a long standing, successful, productive and effective intelligence led Business Crime Reduction organisation which brings together business across a 24 hour economy within the City of Lichfield. Its’ aims and objectives are to reduce crime and disorder, and the fear of crime which can have a negative impact on the business community, including all those who work, live, visit and invest in the City.

Since May 2016 the Partnership has become part of The Lichfield Business Improvement District (BID) & is now funded by the BID. The Partnership is run for the benefit of businesses and works closely with partners including Staffordshire Police and the District Council in order to achieve its objectives which it delivers both on a strategic and operational level.

Members of the Partnership benefit from a range of services which include:

  • Access to shared intelligence and information locally, countywide, regionally and nationally
  • Analysis of trends, patterns, and activities for management purposes
  • Participation in the Daytime or Nightlife Exclusion Schemes
  • Access to the Storenet radio link linked to the BCRP, Police, CCTV and other businesses
  • Regular intelligence briefings
  • Representation by the BCRP on various forums
